Terms and Conditions
For piece of mind and to ensure there are no misunderstandings we work to the following terms and conditions
Quotations:
A written quotation will be sent to clients detailing the Date, times, venue and function. It is the client's responsibility to ensure these details are correct. The quotation is valid for 14 days. The booking may be confirmed by payment of a booking deposit.
Booking Fee:
A (non refundable) booking fee is required to secure the date for your booking. On receipt of your booking fee a written booking confirmation will be issued.
Payment:
All outstanding balances must be paid by the date specified on the quotation and booking confirmation (Normally 14 days prior to your booking date) if no written quotation or booking confirmation has been issued balance (or payment in full) is payable to the DJ in cash on the date of the booking prior to commencement of the event.
Access to Venue:
We will require adequate access to the venue prior to & after the booking to allow setting up & breaking down of equipment. A minimum of 60 minutes (but preferably 90 minutes) should be allowed for setting up and 60 minutes for packing up and vacating the premises.
Space:
We normally need an approximate space of 4 x 3 metres. We do our utmost to work with any space constraints there may be.
Electricity:
The client is responsible for the provision of a suitable and safe electricity supply. We require a minimum of two 13-amp mains sockets.
Cancellation by Client:
Booking Fees are non-refundable. Any cancellation of a confirmed booking less than 6 months prior to the booking date will be subject to a cancellation charge equivalent to 50% of the total booking charge. Cancellation less than two months prior to the booking is subject to a cancellation charge equivalent to 90% of the total booking charge.
Refreshments:
Don't forget the DJ and any assistants can work very long hours. Please bear them in mind with regard to the provision of adequate food and soft drinks.
Extended Playing Time:
Wherever possible we will aim to accommodate client's requests for extensions to playing time. This will be subject to an additional hourly charge.
Licencing:
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the venue is suitably licensed for the event.
Safety:
If at any time before or during the function we deem our persons or property to be under threat, verbally or physically, we reserve the right to either suspend or terminate the disco without further notice. In the event of this happening refunds are not applicable.
Damage:
The client will be held responsible for any theft or damage of any equipment caused by guests attending the event.
Photography:
Dream Machine disco's reserve the right to take photographs or video footage at any booking, which may be used for promotional materials. If you, the Client, object to this, please notify us before the date of the event. Copies of any photographs and videos, if possible, may be obtainable upon request.
